Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 3 years of direct project estimating experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to work both independently and in teams, demonstrate creativity in problem solving.
• Attention to detail is critical for accuracy in estimates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ConEst, and K-Base is required.
• OSHA 10-hour certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present various types of estimates and proposals for construction projects.
• Assemble material and labor costs for bids and proposals.
• Analyze quotes on bonding and insurance for estimates.
• Conduct subcontractor solicitation and pre-qualification of vendors.
• Evaluate equipment and material pricing for projects in estimates.
• Prepare bid packages and present information in meetings.
• Conduct market studies related to subcontractor labor and make recommendations.
