Position Summary

Our Hartwell, Georgia, factory measures an impressive 500,000 square feet. It represents our most versatile facility to date, enabling us to switch product lines with greater speed and efficiency. Together, we take immense pride in producing and distributing the brands that our customers trust and that bring joy to pets' lives. As a Staff Engineer, you'll oversee equipment and factory layout design, manage capital programs and key projects, and ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the factory, utilities, and grounds in compliance with state and federal regulations and company. You'll work with cross-functional groups to manage and execute key projects as well as hold budgetary responsibility for assigned projects. Be the voice of your larger team as you work collaboratively with associates and contractors to successfully manage and deliver impactful projects.

  • Participate in the development, implementation, and coordination of the capital budget to improve and maintain equipment and facilities.
  • Development of design/solutions in accordance with engineering safety, production, sanitary, and accounting procedures and specifications.
  • Direct the installation of new equipment and/or modification/rearrangement of existing equipment for assigned projects.
  • Monitor outside contractors to assure compliance with all company standards including sanitation, safety, quality, productivity, and budgeting.
  • Preparation of estimates, schedules and issuance of all documents/drawings for construction on assigned projects.
  • Evaluate bids, award contracts, and issue purchase orders and provide engineering consulting service to business teams.


Requiremens
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years' experience in an engineering or capital project management role within a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment.


The approximate pay range for this position is $84,000 - $108,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.Nestlé offers performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k with Company match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.
