This is a strategic and high-impact role with both local and global responsibilities, providing the opportunity to influence ADI's worldwide electrical infrastructure programs. The position plays a critical part in driving standardization, operational excellence, sustainability, and resilience across ADI's non-manufacturing facilities portfolio spanning the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions.
Their responsibilities will include supporting global non-manufacturing facilities.
General Roles and Responsibilities
• Global Program Leadership: Maintain and improve global electrical standards, reliability programs, and energy-efficiency initiatives across ADI's facilities portfolio.
• System Ownership: Act as the technical authority for power, lighting, and LV/MV distribution systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations from design through sustaining support.
• Resilience & Reliability: Design and maintain critical infrastructure (UPS, generator systems) with a focus on uptime, redundancy, and operational continuity worldwide.
• Maintenance & CMMS Programs: Provide subject matter expertise on electrical systems within ADI's global CMMS platform; optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Project Execution: Lead or support electrical scopes on construction and infrastructure projects of all sizes, from advanced cleanrooms and high-tech facilities to corporate offices.
• Building Systems Design: Prepare and review electrical design documents including single-line diagrams, load calculations, panel schedules, lighting layouts, and fault current/arc flash studies.
• Cross-Discipline Coordination: Collaborate with architectural, structural, and mechanical teams to ensure integrated, code-compliant building designs.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive optimization of electrical systems to reduce cost, improve performance, and meet ADI's ESG and Mission 2030 goals.
• Data & Standards Development: Contribute to enterprise engineering databases, condition scoring tools, and global operating procedures.
• Incident Response: Provide expert troubleshooting and root cause analysis of electrical events; lead global knowledge-sharing for corrective actions.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Champion energy-efficiency projects, lighting control upgrades, renewable integration, and grant/incentive programs.
Technical Skills & Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of building electrical systems design, including LV/MV power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and fire/life safety interfaces.
• Proficiency with short-circuit, selective coordination, and load flow analysis tools (e.g., SKM, ETAP, EasyPower).
• Ability to prepare and review construction documents, specifications, and BIM/Revit models for multi-discipline integration.
• Familiarity with lighting controls, renewable energy systems, and smart building technologies (BMS, EMS).
• In-depth understanding of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, IEC, and local/global building codes and standards.
• Experience supporting construction administration-reviewing submittals, RFIs, and conducting field inspections.
Qualifications and Experience
