Staff Engineer - ManufacturingLocation: Mobile/Remote

Position SummaryThe Staff Engineer is a senior technical leader responsible for executing the company's most strategically important engineering and capital initiatives specific to Manufacturing. The role provides enterprise-level technical leadership across multiple manufacturing facilities while maintaining direct ownership of project execution, engineering quality, and Operational Integrity. The Staff Engineer serves as the technical authority for assigned technologies, mentors engineers across the organization, and ensures projects are delivered safely, reliably, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with corporate engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead execution of Arclin Manufacturing's most technically challenging capital and manufacturing improvement projects.
- Serve as the technical authority for assigned technologies, processes, or manufacturing systems.
- Develop engineering solutions that improve safety, reliability, operability, maintainability, quality, and cost competitiveness.
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams without direct supervisory authority.
- Approve engineering designs, equipment selections, process modifications, and technical specifications within assigned projects.
- Apply Operational Integrity principles throughout project development and execution.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement proven technologies that improve manufacturing performance.
- Develop project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, risk assessments, and execution strategies.
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing Technology, Reliability, Process Safety, Supply Chain, Procurement, and R&D.
- Lead technical reviews including HAZOPs, design reviews, constructability reviews, and commissioning readiness.
- Capture lessons learned and incorporate improvements into future projects.
Qualifications- Bachelors or Master's degree in Engineering.
- Typically 20+ years of progressive engineering experience in chemical or industrial manufacturing.
- Demonstrated success leading complex capital projects and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of process engineering, project management, process safety, and manufacturing operations.
- Excellent communication and influence skills.
