Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Missouri, in good standing with 2+ years experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility within the past 5 years.
• Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor.

Responsibilities

• Plan and evaluate the nursing in-service and training program under the Director of Nursing Services direction.
• Collaborate with DNS and Unit Manager to create outcome-focused continuing education.
• Coordinate mandated in-service training for all team members.
• Orient and mentor new hires for their first 30 days.
• Conduct and coordinate CNA and CPR training sessions.
• Maintain accurate training records for compliance.
• Apply adult learning principles using audio-visual equipment as needed.
