  • Represent WHA in regulatory matters and assist with submissions

Staff Attorney
Department: Legal
Position Type: Full-time/Exempt
Location: Sacramento, CA/Hybrid
Travel: Occasional
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 annually

Western Health Advantage is seeking a Staff Attorney to provide legal guidance across a range of areas including regulatory, privacy, employment, and contract matters. In this role, you will partner with internal teams to analyze legal issues, identify practical solutions, and proactively address risk.

What You'll Do
  • Provide legal advice on regulatory, business, employment, privacy, and contract matters
  • Draft, review, and revise contracts, notices, disclosures, and other legal documents
  • Support the development of strategies to identify and mitigate legal and compliance risks
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and interact with outside counsel as needed
  • Represent WHA in regulatory matters and assist with submissions

  • Ensure alignment with WHA's Privacy and Information Security programs
  • Promote compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in accordance with California State Bar guidelines
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

What You'll Bring
