Full Job Description
Burr & Forman has an immediate opening in our Washington, DC office for an experienced Staff Attorney within our Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy group. This position requires a J.D. degree and membership in the District of Columbia Bar. The Staff Attorney will manage a growing, high-volume caseload of commercial foreclosure matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants to build deep subject-matter expertise, take ownership of a substantial docket, and play a key role in the continued growth of an established and rapidly expanding client relationship. Successful candidates should possess experience handling commercial and/or residential foreclosure matters, as well as strong research, writing, organization, and analytical skills. Candidates must be qualified to practice law in the District of Columbia, and qualifications to practice law in other states (Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and/or Wisconsin) is preferred but not required.
