Summary of Position

Reporting directly to the Assistant Controller, this position will be responsible for various areas relating to month-end closing, ensuing that the financial statements present fairly, in all material respects, in conformity with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States (U.S. GAAP) and SEC Regulations.

Key Job Elements
  • Conduct general ledger account reconciliations including verification of proper classification, cut-off, accuracy, and completeness and preparing journal entries
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing and meet internal deadlines
  • Assist in providing schedules and information needed for financial reporting and internal/external audit
  • Follow the Company's established accounting processes and internal controls
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree with major in Accounting.
  • 2+years of experience in Big 4 or publicly traded company.
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
  • CPA in progress or CPA license is a plus.


Skills
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
  • Experience in preparation and analysis of financial data.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills; be results-oriented; and possess the ability to competently manage multiple priorities.
