About the Team

The Workday Education In Market team is the bridge between Workday's training and enablement resources and the customers and partners who rely on them. We work closely with customer- and partner-facing teams across Workday — including Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, Partner Managers, and Consultants — to ensure that every customer and partner can access the right training for their role. We also partner directly with customers and partners to set them up for long-term success with Workday.
Our team is truly global, spread across multiple countries and time zones. We are a close-knit group that values genuine connection. We make the most of every moment together — whether that means collaborating on a new initiative or simply checking in on how everyone is doing. If you enjoy meaningful work with a team that prioritizes both impact and people, this is a great place to be.

About the Role

As a Senior Workday Education Field Solutions Manager, you will play a central role in shaping how Workday's partners and external training organizations experience our education and training programs. You will serve as the go-to training resource for North America partners and Global System Integrator (SI) partners, advising internal teams and engaging directly with partners to ensure Workday Education solutions are adopted thoughtfully and effectively.

A major focus for this role will be guiding the responsible adoption of Workday's new training offerings for partners. You will help ensure these offerings are positioned and used appropriately across the partner ecosystem. In addition, you will help expand Workday training beyond the existing ecosystem by identifying and onboarding external organizations — such as higher-education institutions, nonprofits, staffing firms, and third-party training companies — that can prepare people outside of the Workday customer and partner community for training and certification.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Serving as the primary education and training point of contact for North America partners and Global System Integrator (SI) partners
  • Advising internal customer- and partner-facing teams on appropriate Workday Education solutions for partners and external training organizations
  • Identifying, engaging, and onboarding new external organizations — including higher-education institutions, nonprofits, staffing firms, and third-party training companies — to use Workday Education resources to develop Workday talent outside of the existing customer and partner community
  • Managing and strengthening relationships with existing authorized organizations that provide Workday training to the general public
  • Monitoring partner and external-organization needs, adoption, outcomes, and feedback to identify opportunities to improve program effectiveness
  • Gathering and synthesizing feedback on Workday Education content, resources, and learning experiences, and communicating actionable insights to content teams
  • Partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Partner Managers to align education programs with business and ecosystem needs
  • Helping grow a high-quality Workday talent pipeline by increasing access to relevant training and certification pathways

About You

Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in partner management, customer success, field operations, enablement, or a related customer- or partner-facing role within SaaS or enterprise software environments
  • Experience managing relationships with customers, partners, or other external organizations across multiple geographies
Other Qualifications
  • Experienced in relationship management, with the ability to establish, maintain, and strengthen partnerships with customers, partners, and external organizations, including understanding their needs, resolving issues, and building trust and loyalty over time
  • Experienced in leading complex, cross-functional programs or initiatives from planning through delivery, with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and functions to align education programs with broader business goals
  • Skilled in communication and presentation, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively to a range of internal and external audiences, adapting your style to engage field teams, partner organizations, and leadership alike
  • Proficient in assessing the needs of diverse groups and recommending practical learning and enablement solutions, with the ability to match the right training approach to each organization's readiness and goals
  • Well-organized, with sound judgment and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment while maintaining attention to detail and follow-through
  • Effective at working with distributed global teams, with experience collaborating across time zones, geographies, and organizations to drive alignment and results

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
