Warehouse- Senior Operations Manager

Schedule- Mon-Fri 3pm-12am

About The Job

The Senior Warehouse Operations Manager would be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, managing a team of employees, and ensuring that all operational targets are met efficiently and effectively.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
  • This position will directly supervise Operations Managers, and indirectly manage the entire team within their area of responsibility.
  • Planning and coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods: You will be responsible for ensuring that products are received, stored, and distributed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Managing and training staff: Assist to recruit, train, and manage a team of employees to ensure that all tasks are completed effectively.
  • Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures: Assist to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that all warehouse operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Monitoring inventory levels: Assist to keep track of inventory levels and ensure that appropriate stock levels are maintained to meet customer demands.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements: Ensure that all warehouse operations comply with relevant regulatory requirements and standards; maintain a clean, organized facility.
  • Continuously improving warehouse operations: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the customer and employee experience.
  • Managing budgets: Manage budgets and ensure that all operations are carried out within the allocated financial resources.
  • Maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers: Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure that all operational requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including proper use of equipment and handling of hazardous materials.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule; including early mornings and late nights as required.
  • Partner and establish strong working relationships with other departments that provide support to the overall operation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of OSHA Standards and regulations.
  • At least 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, logistics and personnel management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • WMS experience preferred.
  • PIT experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.


Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times; seldom required to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facilities.
  • Must be able to access all parts of the company equipment.

Compensation- $100k- $110,000

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
