Under the direction of a designated senior leader, the Sr Vice President (Sr VP) of Behavioral Health Services is responsible for all clinical and operational functions of the Behavioral Health Service Line, ensuring delivery of clinical services and operational commitments required by patients, as well as accountability for the department's financial performance. This position serves as an institutional leader on hospital committees, and participates in, and leads as appropriate, organizational initiatives and special projects.
Annual Salary Range: $230,422.40 - $339,872.00QualificationsEducation:
- Requires a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work.
Experience:
- Requires a minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible leadership experience, with at least five (5) years of behavioral health operations experience or healthcare related experience.
- Leadership experience should include management of staff, budgets and multiple functional areas.
- Pursuant to Arizona Administrative Code R9-10-306 CHAPTER 10 of the Dept. of Health Services, personnel must be at least 21 years of age, or at least 18 years of age and licensed or certified under A.R.S. Title 32, and provide services within the personnel member's scope of practice.

- Must be able to lead and mentor a team, helping them to achieve expected organizational performance.
- Must be a strategic thinker with the ability to implement a strategic plan with a focus on customer service, financial management, internal processes and people needs.
- Must have demonstrated success in guiding hospital operations.
- Must be able to build solid relationships with physicians, clinicians, staff and the community.
- Must be familiar with all related healthcare concepts, practices, policies and procedures.
- Must be knowledgeable of CMS, HIPAA, AAAHC and other healthcare governing bodies.
- Must have extensive knowledge of the public delivery system of behavioral healthcare in Arizona.
- Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, including knowledge of basic grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
- Requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to work with professionals, and maintain confidentiality standards.
