Daifuku Intralogistics America is looking for an experienced leader to step into the role of Senior Vice President of Manufacturing & Supply Chain—a critical executive position driving the strategy, performance, and innovation of our manufacturing, supply chain, and product development functions.

This is more than an operations role—it’s an opportunity to define how a global leader in automation and intralogistics continues to scale, innovate, and outperform.

 

Responsibilities

What You'll Do...

 

As a key member of the Operations Leadership Team, you will:

  • Set the strategic direction for manufacturing, supply chain, and product development—defining priorities that drive safety, quality, delivery performance, cost efficiency, and inventory optimization
  • Lead and inspire high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement across both salaried and hourly workforce
  • Drive product innovation and development, establishing and executing a forward-looking roadmap that fuels long-term growth and market leadership
  • Own operational excellence, including ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 compliance for our Hobart facility
  • Champion safety as a core value, ensuring a safe and compliant environment for all employees
  • Deliver on financial performance, including annual operating plans, budgets, and business reviews to ensure achievement of sales and profitability goals
  • Lead major initiatives and transformation efforts, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer experience
  • Partner with senior leadership, aligning strategic initiatives and execution plans to accelerate business outcomes

  • Technical breadth: Exposure to engineering disciplines including mechanical, electrical, controls, robotics, and software
  • Business acumen: Strong financial and operational decision-making capabilities
  • Leadership presence: Exceptional communication, influencing, and executive stakeholder engagement skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (in business, computer science, management, engineering, or related subject or equivalent)
  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus
