  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop software, hardware, and connected system experiences across navigation, robotics, advanced imaging, and cloud-connected technologies.
  • Translate user research, clinical observations, and human factors insights into product requirements, concepts, and design solutions.
  • Establish and maintain design standards, design language frameworks, and experience guidelines that promote consistency across products and platforms.
  • Influence portfolio strategies and product decisions through user-centered and data-informed recommendations that support interoperability and long-term platform evolution.
  • Develop and evaluate concepts, prototypes, and design alternatives to inform product direction, technical feasibility, and future capabilities.
  • Mentor engineers and stakeholders on user experience engineering methods, usability practices, and human-centered design principles.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience influencing cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives across organizations.
  • Experience creating user workflows, interaction models, interface architectures, or system-level experience designs for complex technical products.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within the medical device industry, surgical technologies, surgical capital equipment, or healthcare software environments.
  • Experience with navigation, robotics, imaging, artificial intelligence-enabled healthcare technologies, or connected digital health platforms.
  • Knowledge of IEC 62366, Food and Drug Administration Human Factors guidance, and medical device design controls.
