Full Job Description
The Senior HV Battery Technician is a hands-on technical expert responsible for the advanced assembly, testing, diagnostics, and field support of high-voltage (HV) battery systems. This role spans prototype build, validation, and field issue resolution, requiring strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities • Lead assembly and teardown of HV battery modules and packs, including cell integration, busbar and coolant systems, enclosure sealing, and diagnostic inspection. • Support validation and lifecycle tests, operating automation systems, CAN-based tools, and electrical diagnostic equipment. • Analyze test data, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide feedback to engineering for design and process improvements. • Investigate and resolve high-priority HV battery concerns, supporting R&D teams. • Collaborate with engineering teams on battery related projects. • Mentor and train junior technicians, driving adherence to safety and best practices. • Identify and implement improvements across build and test processes to enhance safety, efficiency, and reliability.
