Full Job Description
About the role

Enable D&E leaders to scale by owning the planning, coordination, and execution mechanics of a growing project portfolio - so the team spends its time leading and building, not chasing status.

D&E is a small, high-leverage team carrying a workload that outpaces its headcount. This is a high-impact Individual Contributor (IC) role with broad visibility across Design, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, and Operations - not a project-coordination or administrative seat. You'll have real influence over how D&E plans, tracks, and delivers, how D&E develops and designs for the future, and real accountability for whether that execution is predictable.

This role is intentionally banded across "Sr." and "Principal" levels - final leveling, title, and compensation will be calibrated to the experience and scope the selected candidate brings, not fixed in advance.

What you'll do

PROGRAM PLANNING & EXECUTION
• Establish and maintain systems to enable D&E's design, engineering, and construction workstreams.
• Define milestones, success criteria, and delivery timelines; own the systems (Asana, Procore, and equivalents) that make status answerable in one lookup, not a scramble.
• Track progress and surface risk, scope, and schedule tradeoffs early enough for leaders to act on them - not after they've already landed.
• Progress programmatic initiatives to ensure a scalable, industry-leading D&E team into the future.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COORDINATION
• Serve as the connective tissue between D&E and Construction, Operations, Commercial, Development, Procurement, and Sustainability - driving alignment on process, priorities, and sequencing, not just reporting on them.
• Facilitate decision-making forums and escalation paths; hold teams accountable to agreed plans and timelines without relying on formal authority.
• Represent D&E's program status and risk posture directly to stakeholders and leadership, including in forums the VP, Design & Engineering isn't in.

METRICS, REPORTING & OPERATING RHYTHM
• Define and maintain program dashboards and status reporting for D&E leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Support quarterly and monthly planning cadences, including RFP/procurement tracking and Prime Engineering Standards distribution to stakeholders.
• Identify and close recurring process gaps - a report nobody trusts, a handoff that keeps dropping - without being told to.
• Facilitate third-party business reviews to ensure true collaborative partnerships are maintained.

Qualifications
• 6+ years leading technical programs or complex initiatives - construction, real estate development, infrastructure, or complex hardware/engineering environments strongly preferred.
• Strong systems thinking; able to translate strategy into executable, trackable plans - and to build the tracking systems (Asana, Procore, or equivalent) that make that possible for others, not just yourself.
• Confidence working across senior technical and business stakeholders - comfortable pushing back on an unrealistic date or dependency with data, not staying quiet.
• Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments - you'll be building parts of this operating rhythm from scratch, not running an existing playbook.
• Data center, hyperscale, or mission-critical facilities experience is a strong plus, not a requirement.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is a strong plus, not a requirement.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range at $180-200k and performance bonus program
  • 401k fully vested upon enrollment, up to a 4% employer match
  • 100% employee premiums paid by employer for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability
  • Paid Time Off + Sick time

Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
