Key job responsibilities
As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving cross-functional initiatives that support enterprise solutions across Amazon's internal tools.
This includes defining program scope, building execution plans, managing dependencies across teams, and ensuring delivery against milestones. You'll coordinate between engineering, product, design, and business stakeholders to keep programs on track and remove blockers as they arise.
In addition to program execution, you will establish mechanisms for tracking progress, escalating risks, and communicating status to senior leadership. A crucial aspect of your role will be driving alignment across diverse teams, facilitating decision-making, and ensuring accountability for deliverables.
Key job responsibilities
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing program timelines, running operating rhythms (standups, reviews, retrospectives), identifying and mitigating risks, and reporting on program health. You'll own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle from kickoff through launch, ensuring clear ownership at every stage. Additionally, you'll develop communication plans, create process documentation, and establish mechanisms for measuring program outcomes and operational efficiency.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
