At GALLO, we're looking for a collaborative Continuous Improvement leader to help teams solve meaningful business challenges, improve customer experiences, and build lasting capability across the organization. In this role, you will lead Lean Six Sigma programs and strategic projects that increase productivity, strengthen process performance, and deliver measurable results.
You will partner with senior leaders, process owners, and cross-functional teams to identify priorities, define customer needs, analyze complex data, and design practical, sustainable solutions. Using Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, PDCA, organizational change management, and project-management practices, you will guide initiatives from opportunity discovery through implementation, control plans, and leadership reporting.
As a trusted technical resource, you will coach Lean Practitioners, Green Belts, Black Belts, leaders, managers, and frontline teams. You will shape and deliver advanced Lean Six Sigma curriculum, mentor others through certification and project work, and create train-the-trainer approaches that expand continuous improvement capability throughout GALLO.
Success in this role requires curiosity, sound judgment, strong facilitation skills, and the ability to translate statistical analysis into clear actions. You will challenge existing ways of working with respect, encourage innovative ideas, and foster an inclusive, customer-focused culture where people at every level can contribute to improvement.
You will also maintain Lean Six Sigma tools and best practices, benchmark external programs, support governance and project reviews, and help ensure work is aligned with quality, environmental, safety, and business requirements. What You'll Need
- Master's degree plus 10 years of end-to-end project management, Engineering, Production/Operations, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Human Resources, IT, Sales, Marketing, B2B customer service, or military leadership experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 12 years of end-to-end project management, Engineering, Production/Operations, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Human Resources, IT, Sales, Marketing, B2B customer service, or military leadership experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 16 years of end-to-end project management, Engineering, Production/Operations, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Human Resources, IT, Sales, Marketing, B2B customer service, or military leadership experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Required to pass and complete all certification requirements at the Master Black Belt level (training, examinations, and project work) within 3 years .
- Required to possess personnel management or technical process management experience.
- Required to possess demonstrated team building, leadership, training, mentoring and coaching skills and experience.
- Required to possess demonstrated process/continuous improvement experience (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, Agile, TQM) on a departmental or organizational level and process improvement projects to closure.
- Required to possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with senior leadership and functional leaders; convey a vision of project objectives and to motivate and inspire team members.

- Black Belt Certification.
- Proficient within Minitab.
- Proficient team building, leadership and mentoring skills.
- Proficient reading, analyzing, and interpreting the most complex documents.
- Proficient responding effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
- Proficient writing speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style.
- Proficient making effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and boards of directors.
- Skilled in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint at an advanced level.
- Proficient in applying principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Proficient in dealing with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
- Proficient communicating with all levels to maintain relationships and cooperation in pursuing the winery's goals.
- Excellent organization and negotiation skills.
- Proficient experience leading and directing a change process.
- Proficient in influencing, negotiating and resolving conflicts to reach consensus around common goals.
- Experience being pro-active, analytical and process driven with a strong focus on understanding and exceeding the expectations of the customer.
- Proficient in developing and delivering training for diverse audiences.
