The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will work within UC Health's Human Resources organization as part of the internal Talent Acquisition team with the primary responsibility of sourcing and recruiting leadership-level (ie...Manager, Director and VP) talent into the system. They will collaborate closely with senior business and HR leaders to fully understand the area of the organization they support and consultatively recommend and execute effective recruitment strategies and tactics. This role is ideal for a person who has experience partnering and recruiting talent for senior-level stakeholders, working as part of a highly visible and engaged Talent Acquisition team within a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Expertise
  • Develop and execute innovative talent attraction and sourcing strategies to identify, engage, and build pipelines of high-quality candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Lead the candidate assessment and selection process, conducting interviews, evaluating technical and cultural fit, and presenting qualified candidate slates to hiring leaders.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience by effectively articulating career opportunities, maintaining proactive communication, and serving as a brand ambassador for UC Health.
  • Serve as a talent acquisition subject matter expert by leveraging labor market intelligence, recruiting trends, and business knowledge to support hiring outcomes and ensure compliance with recruitment practices.
  • Manage recruitment activity and candidate data with accuracy and timeliness, maintaining ATS integrity, monitoring key performance metrics, and fostering strong partnerships with hiring leaders and internal stakeholders.


Business Advisor

  • Serve as a trusted talent advisor to hiring leaders, building strong partnerships and developing a deep understanding of business objectives, workforce needs, and stakeholder priorities.
  • Provide consultative guidance on recruitment strategies, market trends, compensation, hiring processes, and best practices to support informed decision-making.
  • Leverage recruiting data, market intelligence, and performance metrics to influence hiring strategies, drive outcomes, and ensure progress toward established goals.
  • Manage and communicate recruitment activity, status updates, and challenges proactively, collaborating with hiring leaders and Talent Acquisition team members to remove barriers and maintain alignment.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple searches and competing business needs effectively, driving the hiring process with a sense of urgency while meeting service levels, KPIs, and organizational objectives.


Candidate Sourcing, Engagement and Experience

  • Utilize advanced sourcing strategies, recruiting technologies, market insights, and analytics to identify, engage, and attract top talent across assigned areas.
  • Build and maintain robust talent pipelines, cultivating relationships with prospective candidates and positioning UC Health as an employer of choice.
  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition colleagues and cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless, high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Drive candidate engagement through proactive outreach, relationship management, and personalized communication that supports strong hiring outcomes.
  • Represent UC Health at hiring events, networking functions, community outreach activities, and other talent acquisition initiatives to enhance employer brand awareness and talent attraction efforts.


HR, Special Projects and Continuous Improvement

  • Provide mentorship, coaching, onboarding support, and subject matter expertise to less experienced recruiters while helping elevate team performance and capability.
  • Lead and contribute to Talent Acquisition, HR, and organizational initiatives that support strategic workforce objectives, operational excellence, and business priorities.
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance recruiting processes, tools, reporting, and best practices, driving greater efficiency and effectiveness across the Talent Acquisition function.


Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5-years' equivalent experience with a track record of success sourcing and recruiting leadership-level talent and managing the full TA life cycle within a fast-paced and matrixed organization.
    • Healthcare recruiting experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering, advising, influencing and recruiting for senior-level stakeholders, serving as their recruitment subject matter expert.
  • Analytical acumen. Ability to understand the data and insights that matter and experience in leveraging data and insights to inform decision making.
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize hiring leader/team, and candidate motivations.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Exceptional time management skills.
  • SHRM or PHR preferred but not required.
