As the platform's Talent Acquisition subject matter expert, this role partners closely with Business Unit HR leaders and hiring managers to attract top talent, strengthen hiring capabilities, improve recruiting processes, and build sustainable talent pipelines that support HDCM's SMM2030 growth strategy. While recruiting execution remains the primary focus, this role also helps strengthen long-term organizational capability through workforce planning, succession planning, talent pipeline development, and strategic talent initiatives during periods of lower recruiting demand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the platform subject matter expert for recruiting strategy, sourcing, selection, and hiring best practices.
  • Partner with Business Unit HR leaders to prioritize recruiting efforts and align hiring strategies with business objectives.
  • Build scalable recruiting processes that create consistency across the platform.
  • Reduce reliance on external recruiting agencies through proactive sourcing and pipeline development.

Recruitment Execution
  • Personally lead full-cycle salaried recruiting across engineering, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, sales, HR, and leadership positions.
  • Support targeted hourly recruiting initiatives for facilities experiencing elevated hiring demand or turnover.
  • Develop proactive talent pipelines across manufacturing, engineering, operations, and commercial functions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop compelling job descriptions, sourcing strategies, and interview plans.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding.

Hiring Excellence
  • Champion Targeted Selection and structured interviewing across the platform.
  • Train, coach, and develop hiring managers on interviewing, candidate assessment, and selection best practices.
  • Improve hiring quality, candidate experience, and recruiting consistency across all Business Units.
  • Utilize recruiting metrics and market intelligence to advise leaders on hiring decisions.

Talent Strategy & Organizational Capability
  • Partner with Business Unit HR leaders on workforce planning and talent priorities aligned with 2030 growth plans.
  • During periods of lower recruiting activity, support strategic talent initiatives including succession planning, internal talent pipeline development, career pathing, critical capability identification, and organizational capability building.
  • Collaborate with HR leaders to develop career ladders and internal mobility strategies for key talent.
  • Identify emerging talent trends and future capabilities needed to support business growth.

Employer Branding & Early Career Programs
  • Strengthen HDCM's employer brand across manufacturing markets and local communities.
  • Embed Marmon's Employee Value Proposition throughout the recruiting process.
  • Represent HDCM at industry events, universities, technical schools, and community recruiting events.
  • Develop internship, university, and skilled trade partnerships to create sustainable early-career talent pipelines.

Continuous Improvement & Analytics
  • Own recruiting KPIs including time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness, candidate experience, and turnover.
  • Drive continuous improvement through recruiting analytics and process optimization.
  • Improve Workday recruiting data integrity and reporting.
  • Evaluate and implement recruiting technology, sourcing tools, and AI-enabled recruiting practices to improve efficiency and candidate experience.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience supporting manufacturing or industrial organizations.
  • Demonstrated success leading full-cycle recruiting across professional and hourly positions.
  • Experience influencing leaders and driving recruiting strategy without direct authority.
  • Experience with Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, and modern sourcing tools.
