BP&C Shared Services is looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to work from our Chicago office. This role will be responsible for attracting, engaging and retaining uniquely qualified professionals from a variety of backgrounds.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle, from the market insights and sourcing strategy, attracting and delivering a diverse slate of candidates, to the interview and talent selection process, negotiating offers, and shepherding the new joiner through onboarding and integration.
  • Strategically engage and manage relationships with external recruitment partners.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador and storyteller, actively marketing and communicating with candidates to capture expectations, gauging technical expertise, and influence career mobility.
  • Proactively develop a pipeline of talented potential candidates within the industry to quickly tap into as hiring needs arise.
  • Effectively manage expectations and balance multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders and facilitate open dialogue
  • Maintain relationships with your external professional network as well as your business partners.
  • Provide guidance to hiring managers on best practices in recruitment.
  • Ensure compliance with local and federal laws and regulations
  • Lead/participate in other HR projects as needed.
  • Incorporate digital solutions and integrate an agile workflow to align with your peers and corporate policy.
  • Recommend process improvement opportunities, including the use of creative technological opportunities.
  • Mentor and provide training to junior talent acquisition team members.
  • Regular on-site attendance to support collaboration and operations.
  • Participation in in-person meetings and business activities.
  • Real-time communication and teamwork in a shared work environment.
  • Adherence to workplace schedules, policies, and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in human resources, business management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of talent acquisition experience handling full life cycle recruitment required.
  • Experience recruiting within the insurance industry, preferred.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to flourish in fast-paced settings, meet pressing deadlines and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with colleagues across HR disciplines, Finance, Information Technology, etc.
  • Detail focused with ability to quickly assess the accuracy of information.
  • Flexible and adept at working on multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Must be highly motivated and extremely capable of working autonomously with little supervision and not delegating tasks.
  • Exercise discretion and confidentiality in working with sensitive information.
  • Strong analytical and sound judgment skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using Workday as an ATS and onboarding tool.
  • Willingness to travel (if necessary).


The base salary range provided below is for hires in those geographic areas only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. In addition to base salary, all employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance as well as a generous benefits package.
