Full Job Description
As a Senior Systems Integration Engineer, you'll be able to oversee and lead complex systems integration tasks, exhibiting expert-level skills in requirements analysis and management. You'll manage and mentor teams in verification and validation (V&V) activities, drive software and hardware integration initiatives, and ensure effective configuration management. You'll develop and execute strategic test plans, solve and troubleshoot technical problems at an advanced level, and apply critical reasoning to solve complex issues. Strong technical writing and documentation skills will be vital, along with comprehensive knowledge of aerospace and defense standards.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in systems integration or related field.
  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • Expert proficiency with integration tools and methodologies.
  • Proven leadership experience in systems integration.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • Progressive experience working in multidisciplinary design & development teams.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with the practical application of requirements development and management, system design, systems integration, technical risk identification, management strategies, and V&V principles.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain United States secret security clearance


Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Agile methodologies and Scrum Master certification.
  • Experience with digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Experience or certification in International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) standards [Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)].
  • Extensive background in Aerospace and Defense industry.
  • Ability to apply technical principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts.
  • Technical problem solving skills and ability to develop innovative technical solutions.
  • Ability to guide technical designs through development into a final deliverable product.
  • Ability to work successfully in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment emphasizing rapid prototyping and fielding of capabilities, with minimal supervision.
  • Proven successful experience in project definition, simulation, implementation, lab integration and test.
  • Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical trouble shooting techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, Government, or US Military.
  • Missile Integration and Test experience
  • Hardware environmental test planning and execution
  • Experience with one or more of the following domains: RF sensor design and test, IR sensor design and test, Hardware-in-the-Loop, Embedded system integration and test
  • Experience with range safety/FTS concepts
  • Experience with missile command and launch interfaces and systems. i.e. MIL-STD-1553/1760/UAI/CFWICD
  • Experience leading high profile test events
  • Demonstrated experience leading subcontract/supplier efforts as the technical point of contact


Essential Functions:
  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
  • Hand/finger dexterity for integration tasks.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional travel.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $124,771.42 - $171,560.71. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
