Full Job Description
Description/Duties:

The Sr. Systems Architect will directly support the Missile Defense Agency Ground Based Midcourse Defense architecture and systems engineering team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering, knowledge, development, implementation and execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead or participate in an Integrated Product Team.
  • Analysis of radar and sensor systems supporting Missile Defense.
  • Modeling of radar functionality to develop operationally realistic scenarios.
  • Coordination among various stakeholders to define interfaces and data exchanges.
  • Creation and revision of technical reports.
  • Presenting technical materials to Senior Leaders.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
  • An ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • The candidate must have at least a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field; Master's degree is preferred. Candidates with a MS and at least 12 years of experience or a BS and at least 20 years of applicable experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering and Digital Engineering is a requirement.
  • Model Based Systems Engineering Cameo tool experience is required.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, including experience briefing at a CEO and/or General Officer level.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree in a STEM field is highly desired.
  • MDA, GMD, or C2BMC experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in Radar systems and sensor/signal processing is desired.
