The Sr. Supervisor, Production Control will perform as a key member of the Planning and Production Control Team supporting factory(s) that are part of the Subsystems Make Center. You will need to be on-site for this position.
What You Will Do:
- Lead Production Control Team in Tucson at the Airport Site.
- Evaluate and coordinate material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production/customer requirements.
- Evaluate and status the assemblies that are in progress, material availability, and potential shortages or delays.
- Solves any potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
- Control and analysis of multiple and moderate complexity, Bills of Material in an MRP system.
- Confirm material supply demand and prepares necessary work orders based on shop load and inventory requirements.
- Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering.
- Coordinating material movement between warehouse, Labs/production areas, and customers.
- Material management of explosive components from procurement through installation or disposal processes.
- Work with the engineers on Bill of Material accuracy and real-time updates.
- Interface with internal customers; including Engineering Whole Life Group, Program, and Factory management as required.
- Participates in projects and or teams to accomplish continuous improvements.
- This is an onsite role in Tucson Arizona.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- Experience to include planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, finance, or project management.
- Experience with MRP and/or Special program access.
- Experience leading daily team operations and/or comparable leadership experience.
- Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience in planning and production control in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean or six sigma project implementations.
- Experience with Wave track and in Material and Inventory Control-type systems such as Kanban, SMI, Continuous Flow Manufacturing.
- Experience working with MS Office applications.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
