We are searching for a Strategic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) -someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position you are a key member of the HR leadership team, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic consultant to executive and operational leaders across Texas Children's Hospital (TC)-the largest children's hospital in the United States. This role aligns people strategies with organizational goals, ensuring the delivery of high-impact, data-informed, and strategic HR solutions that support excellence in children's and women's care, research, and innovation.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as a strategic partner to hospital and system leaders, translating business strategy into actionable human capital plans.
  • Lead people initiatives that drive culture, engagement, performance, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Anticipate and address workforce needs through data-informed HR solutions and proactive planning.
  • Collaborate across HR functions - including Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development, and Total Rewards - to drive recruitment, retention, and development efforts.
  • Support key strategic initiatives such as clinical expansion, digital transformation, and academic partnerships through strong change management leadership.
  • Use workforce analytics to provide insights on turnover, engagement, and workforce trends that shape business decisions.
  • Partner with Employee Relations to manage workplace concerns in a fair, compliant, and forward-thinking manner.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (required)
  • Master's degree (preferred)
  • 8 years of HR leadership experience with at least 3 years in a strategic HRBP or related strategic talent role supporting complex healthcare, academic medical center, or hospital environments (required)
  • Experience working in a multi-site healthcare organization or academic medical center preferred
  • Senior-level HR certification: SPHR or SHRM-SCP (preferred)
  • Strong ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and lead through change
  • Experience using HR analytics and workforce metrics to drive insight and improvement
