Job Title: Operations Program ManagerJob Code: 43658Job Location: Salt Lake City, UtahJob Schedule: 9/80Job Description:The Senior Specialist, Project Manager oversees all Operations efforts relating to contract execution, and is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring projects from beginning to end, according to strict deadlines and budgets. They act as the point-of-contact between elements of Manufacturing, Procurement, Test, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Program Management. They ensure cost and schedule conformance on assigned projects by coordinating the procurement, build, and test of complex electronic systems. A successful candidate should be able to:

Essential Functions: - Interface and communicate with all levels of the organization
- Assist with the development of resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedules, including tie-ins with Engineering efforts and milestones
- Perform lead-time and critical path analysis on multi-level hardware builds
- Assess cost and schedule risks, and develop associated mitigations
- Monitor and report financial, schedule, and technical performance of assigned projects
- Identify and coordinate resources necessary for quick reaction, development efforts
- Work closely with Engineering to identify, mitigate, and execute long-lead material procurement
Interface and communicate with all levels of the organization Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Related experience in a manufacturing, production, or other highly schedule-based environments
Preferred Additional Skills:- Demonstrated ability in financial or data analysis and monitoring is desired
- Demonstrated ability in business and/or technical writing, public speaking, and creating formal presentations is desired
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to analyze data using graphs and pivot tables
- Experience using schedule management tools such as Microsoft Project is preferred
- Experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems is preferred
