Full Job Description
Maritz Solution Designers are central to business development and essential to successful launches. They bring both business acumen and technical literacy. They balance creative problem solving with practicality, building visions and then leading teams that bring them to life.

The Senior Solution Design Manager owns the technical solution from qualified opportunity through launch, ensuring what is sold can be delivered and what is delivered matches what was sold.

The Senior Solution Design Manager supports late-stage sales efforts, ensuring each opportunity moves forward with clear scope and sound feasibility, then manages it to launch after sale to provide strong delivery continuity.

This role is ideal for someone who loves solving complex client problems at the intersection of strategy, technology and delivery. The right candidate will be energized by shaping solutions early, bringing clarity to ambiguity, influencing cross-functional teams and staying close to implementation to see the solution come to life.

What You'll Be Doing

40% - TECHNICAL SOLUTION DEFINITION, SCOPE AND FEASIBILITY: Leads technical discovery and requirements definition for qualified opportunities, via late-stage sales presentations, demos and engagement in the sales process as a subject matter expert. Directs development of POCs when relevant. Develops solution recommendations and collaborates with Product, Delivery and other subject matter experts on architecture approaches. Assesses platform fit, product versus custom decisions, technical risks, scope boundaries and customization needs. Provides effort estimation, scoping and pricing inputs for technology solutions, and helps ensure SOWs accurately reflect the technical solution, delivery assumptions and feasibility considerations.

40% DELIVERY MANAGEMENT AND LAUNCH READINESS: Leads through implementation and launch, guiding the implementation team and protecting continuity between what was sold and what is delivered. Owns scope governance during implementation, responsible for launch readiness, and leads Client Success handoff. Helps teams resolve solution questions, manage scope implications and maintain alignment to the approved technical approach.

20% PRODUCT GOVERNANCE AND SOLUTION STANDARDS: Maintains deep knowledge of Maritz platforms, product capabilities, technical guardrails and delivery standards. Helps determine when to use reusable capability versus custom development, identifies product patterns that should inform the backlog, and supports consistent solutioning across opportunities. Brings current knowledge of engagement technology, loyalty and incentive program operations, client needs and competitive expectations into solution recommendations.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience required.

  • 7 plus years of experience in technology solutioning, solution architecture, product implementation, technical program management, loyalty or incentive program delivery, or a related professional field required.

  • Experience translating client needs into technical requirements, scope, estimates and implementation-ready solutions preferred.

  • Strong understanding of loyalty and incentive programs, engagement technology platforms, Maritz products and services, delivery operations, product guardrails and the overall approach to building scalable client solutions preferred.

  • Strong ability to collaborate with others and strategic leadership skills. Proven ability as coach, mentor and leading others.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with an ability to work under tight deadline pressure.

  • Professional written and oral communications skills with proven ability to present strategic recommendations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
