PayPal, Inc. seeks Sr Software Engineer in New York, NY

Job Duties: Design and architect complex mobile features. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. Architect and develop scalable mobile applications. Optimize app performance and user experience. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Drive innovation and technical excellence in mobile development. Lead complex mobile projects and teams. Collaborate with product leadership to define mobile product strategy. Mentor and develop high-performing engineering teams. Architect and implement scalable mobile solutions and champion technical excellence and best practices. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field plus three years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Special Skill Requirements:

1. Mobile app development (3 years)

2. Android Kotlin/Java (3 years)

3. Jetpack Compose (3 years)

4. Localization and Internationalization development for Android app (3 years)

5. Gradle dependency management and build tooling (3 years)

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:

The base pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring. The expected range of pay for this role by location is:

Primary Location | Pay Range:

New York, NY | Salary: $131,997.00-243,500.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m

Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
