Description
Responsibilities
¿ Design and development of automated tests
¿ Ensure that the critical test scenarios are automated for release testing
¿ Execution of automated tests using Automation tools
¿ Deliver test automation solutions in accordance with enterprise standards and within development and operational guidelines
¿ Monitor and track the automation coverage in sprint
¿ Collaborate with relevant team members (BA's, Dev and QA) to understand project scope and identify and prioritize test cases for automation
¿ Perform reviews of automation and application code
¿ Develop in depth system and application knowledge for higher test quality and coverage
¿ Constantly evaluate and enhance the test automation strategy and approach
¿ Share and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to staff, business sponsors, managers, and technical resources in clear concise language that is appropriate to the target audience
Qualifications & Skill Set
¿ Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
¿ 12 + years of experience developing test automation frameworks or combination of development in Java and test automation frameworks using multiple tools
¿ At least 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies
¿ Hands on experience with testing and automating web and mobile applications
¿ Hands on experience on test automation of APIs (SOAP and REST services)
¿ Hands on experience in at least one test automation tool like Selenium, Client Lean FT.
¿ Experience of working in a CI/CD environment like Jenkins/Hudson for executing automated tests
¿ Strong communication collaboration and influencing skills to drive change
¿ Good to have experience with unit testing and TDD (Test Driven methodologies) using Junit, NUnit or similar tools
