Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join Client Medicaid Enterprise Solutions division. This role is responsible for the design, development, enhancement, maintenance, and support of enterprise applications running on legacy systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to analyze requirements, create technical solutions, develop and test software, manage releases, and maintain system documentation. This position also provides technical leadership through design reviews, mentoring, and support of business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Application Development & Technical Leadership
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications supporting Medicaid and healthcare-related systems.
- Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Review functional specifications and create detailed technical designs and development plans.
- Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and development best practices.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance across project teams.
- Ensure development activities align with project scope, timelines, priorities, and business objectives.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies and development methodologies as appropriate.
- Software Design & Development
- Develop and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET, WCF, WPF, and related Microsoft technologies.
- Design and implement scalable n-tier architectures utilizing MVC, SOA, and object-oriented design principles.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
- Implement web services and API integrations utilizing SOAP and REST standards.
- Develop user interface components using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and AJAX technologies.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and application performance standards are maintained.
- Testing, Deployment & Release Management
- Oversee unit testing, performance testing, and application validation activities.
- Ensure compliance with release management procedures and operational readiness requirements.
- Deploy software releases to development, testing, staging, and production environments.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
- Support maintenance and operations (M&O) activities for existing applications.
- Documentation & Compliance
- Own the creation, maintenance, and finalization of technical system documentation.
- Develop architecture diagrams, design documents, support documentation, and implementation guides.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security requirements, and operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, enhancements, and deployments.
- Business & Stakeholder Support
- Collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders during requirements gathering and solution development.
- Support proposal development and business growth initiatives through technical architecture documentation and solution recommendations.
- Work effectively across cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of software development experience in a product-based or enterprise application environment.
- Strong experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Experience with n-tier application architecture, including MVC and SOA frameworks.

- Experience participating in system architecture design and technical proposal development.
- Experience with software deployment automation and DevOps practices.
- Demonstrated leadership experience mentoring developers and leading technical initiatives.
Certifications- No certifications are required.
- Microsoft .NET Certification preferred.
- Additional Microsoft, Azure, Software Development, or Cloud Architecture certifications are a plus.
