Full Job Description
The Senior Software Engineer is responsible to be part of a product delivery team, and be a key contributor to the technical solutions it provides. They will be developing software solutions in an agile environment, demonstrating exceptional accountability and attention to detail. The person in this role is expected to demonstrate leadership, with an ability to mentor others in technical expertise. The position is highly collaborative and requires excellent communication skills as this person will be working with technical team membership, engineering leadership, product team members, support team members, and business stakeholders, to ensure the correct solutions are built. Responsibilities • Develop production activities and workflows using workflow orchestration platforms and TypeScript. Support full lifecycle including design, development, testing, and maintenance. • Advise and mentor the team on best practices in workflow orchestration. • Actively participate in refinement, architecture discussions, and code reviews, ensuring the team builds solutions that are high-quality, secure, and meet the design goals. • Collaborate with engineering, product, and business partner stakeholders to understand the use cases and build solutions to meet business needs. Qualifications • 2+ years professional experience with a workflow orchestration platform. • Mastery of a modern scripted language (preferably TypeScript) • Software development lifecycle and version control system (preferably Git) • AI-forward development practices • Agile development practices Education & Experience • 5-7 years practical experience developing software solutions in a professional environment • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent experience Preferred • Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or related discipline • Experience with agentic workflows • Proficient with testing frameworks and tools (Jest, Mocha) • Knowledge of core security principles • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and an ability to teach others We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $130,500 -- $252,300 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses.
