Responsibilities & QualificationsWe are seeking Sr Software Developer for the COMSEC IT Services contract.
The Sr. Software Developer will design, develop, enhance, test, integrate, and sustain software applications supporting COMSEC mission operations, accountability, automation, modernization, and secure information processing.
Duties include COMSEC applications and related systems, including software development, integration, automation, and continuous improvement.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
10+ years of software development experience.
Experience with NIST 800-53.
Experience with security control lifecycles.
Experience with Integrated Development Environments.
Experience with API development platforms and/or build automation tools.
Experience with AWS.
Experience with Python.
Experience with SQL.
Experience with Azure.
Experience with C# or equivalent certifications/experience.
Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications.
Develop secure application features and automated workflows.
Develop and integrate APIs.
Support modernization of legacy COMSEC applications.
Write maintainable, secure, and well-documented code.
Perform software troubleshooting, debugging, and defect resolution.
Participate in code reviews and software quality-control activities.
Support CI/CD and build-automation practices.
Integrate applications with databases, services, and external interfaces.
Support cloud-based and hybrid application environments.
Apply security controls throughout the software-development lifecycle.
Develop technical documentation, test plans, and implementation procedures.
Collaborate with system engineers, database specialists, cybersecurity personnel, and operations teams

WAGE INFORMATION
Target salary range: $140,000 - $195,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
