Sr. Software Developer
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Principal Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance business applications.
• Duties include: Collaborate with stakeholders to validate user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solution options;
• Assess objectives for assigned project phases and recommend technical strategies and tactics to achieve business needs;
• Use process design technology methodologies, programming languages and tools, and solutions design techniques to develop applications to meet business specifications;
• Validate functional specifications, build technical specifications, and develop application documentation;
• Perform analysis, design, development, and testing of applications to solve business requirements;
• Integrate new or enhanced application components;
• Develop conversion and system implementation plans;
• Support change readiness initiatives and develop new concepts, techniques, and standards;
• Develop and evaluate solutions to highly complex and challenging situations;
• Develop new concepts, techniques, and standards;
• Serve as liaison between management and communicate with key stakeholders on major initiatives related to policies, plans, and long-range objectives; and
• Mentor junior team members. Multiple positions.
Work Experience:
• REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Information Sciences, or a related field
• Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation;
• Position also requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Full-stack development; Building and coding applications using languages/technologies such as Java, Python, Spring, Web Services, or SQL; Frontend technologies: Angular, HTML, TypeScript, and Bootstrap; Cloud Technologies: Azure or Databricks; PL/SQL database design and development; Java, J2EE, Angular, and Unix/Shell scripting; SOAP and REST Web Services; Creating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, or Gradle; SDLC methodologies including Waterfall and Agile; CSS, JavaScript, Junit, and Mockito; and Supply Chain applications/domain experience.
