Role Overview

At Fluence Energy, we are scaling rapidly to deliver reliable, high-performing energy storage solutions globally. The Senior Service Readiness Engineer is accountable for ensuring a seamless, high-quality transition from project commissioning into long-term service operations.

This role owns service readiness outcomes at project handover-ensuring systems, data, documentation, tools, and service teams are fully prepared to support assets from day one. The position serves as a critical bridge between Commissioning, Engineering, and Services to reduce operational risk and enable scalable, repeatable handover execution.

Role Impact

This role is critical to closing the gap between project delivery and long-term operational performance. By ensuring consistent, high-quality service readiness at handover, the Senior Service Readiness Engineer directly impacts system reliability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Commissioning Handover
  • Own end-to-end service readiness for project handover from Commissioning to Services
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Commissioning, Engineering, Digital, and Services teams
  • Validate completeness and accuracy of system data, tools, and documentation
  • Enable operational readiness of Services teams prior to go-live
  • Establish, standardize, and continuously improve handover processes
  • Define and track service readiness performance metrics and early-life indicators


Regional Site Support
  • Support preparation for and execution of capacity and performance testing
  • Act as a technical liaison between NSD, Engineering, and Services
  • Provide advanced support to Field Service Engineers on complex tasks and corrective actions

  • 10+ years of experience in commissioning, field service, operations, or system integration
  • Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management and service operations
