Job Description

The Senior Security Administrator establishes, plans, and administers the overall policies, goals and procedures for the information security function. This role initiates, implements and develops information security programs in accordance with organizational information security standards. Additionally, this role performs and evaluates information risk on a regular time schedule and promotes security awareness within the organization. This includes the maintenance, troubleshooting, and deployment of security systems and tools as well as responding to cybersecurity alerts.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct the planning and organization of the information security function in alignment with current and future business needs while maintaining a strong focus on continuous improvement, cost center management and EVA driven results.
  • Deliver information security projects such as risk assessments, penetration tests, perimeter security solutions, etc.
  • Champion Manitowoc's Security COE (Center of Excellence) team which provides input on information security strategies, policies and procedures.
  • Participate in planning & organization of enterprise-wide information security through active engagement in a matrix model through the IS Governance Board.
  • Triage security events.
  • Provide technical oversight and management of enterprise information security processes and tools as a subject matter expert. This also includes assistance with policies and Procedures.


Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Cybersecurity fundamentals

  • Programming and scripting (especially PowerShell)

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related IT field
  • 5 years of experience in IS security or related fields


Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Experience with zero trust network access solutions
  • Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows and Linux operating systems (Server and workstation)
  • Security Certifications recommended CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker, CISSP, etc.)
  • Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, and server security software installation/troubleshooting
  • Experience responding to Cybersecurity incidents


Travel Required: International & Domestic - 10%
