In this role you will evaluate and apply novel experimental approaches, partnering across departments with discovery teams to implement cutting-edge laboratory technologies. You will drive the identification of innovative therapeutic targets and contribute directly to the development of new therapies and medicines that improve patient lives. We are seeking an enthusiastic scientist with a strong track record of delivering timely, robust data packages. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, able to design and execute their own experiments, and comfortable taking projects from conception through to clear, reproducible results. You should be proactive in problem-solving, able to communicate findings effectively to multidisciplinary teams, and committed to advancing research that leads to novel therapies and improved patient outcomes.

What you will do:

• Design andexecuteexperiments, analyze and interpret complex datasettoidentifyandvalidatenovel targets in immunology/ inflammation/autoimmunity

• Apply knowledge of key signal transduction pathways to designappropriate experiments

• Be a key contributor in lab and in meetings to progressmultiple programs

• Conceptualize and enactinnovative approaches (including novel technologies) to solve programobjectivesand issues

• Manage project-specific milestones and timelines

• Communicate science and strategy to stakeholders and management

• Collaborate effectively both internally & externally, within and across functional areas

• Demonstrates a one-team mindset by proactively engaging in and leadership of lab and department initiatives

• Activelyparticipatesin cultural initiatives & embraces DE&I principles, promotes psychologicalsafetyand supports a work environment that positively influences others and enables all to bring their true selves to work

What you will need to be successful in this role:

Required Experience:

• B.Scin Biological Sciences, Immunology, Pathology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering,ore related STEM field with7+ years of professional research experience, M.Sc. with4+ years of professional research experienceor PhD and 0+ years of experience.

• Strongknowledge of immunology and cell biology. Experience with primary stromal cell cultures preferred

• Practical experience in performing andanalyzingcomplex multicellular systems

• Ability to interpret andanalyzedata from key biological,biochemicaland immunological assays systems and designappropriate followup experiments

• Knowledgeable in immunofluorescence microscopy / high-content imaging and multi-color flow cytometry preferred

• Preferred: knowledge of inflammatory and/or auto-immunity related mechanisms of disease
