The ideal candidate should provide subject matter expertise in enzymology and small molecule or large molecule biotransformation/metabolite identification. The candidate will also have the opportunity to represent preclinical development on research and development teams and regularly interface with internal and external colleagues to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of ADME findings.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
  • Independently conduct in vitro and in vivo metabolite identification studies including (but not limited to) preparing and analyzing samples for LC-MS/MS analysis, processing data and interpretation of data to understand metabolic pathways
  • Develop and implement suitable analytical LC separation methods and troubleshooting analytical issues with minimal supervision
  • Develop and optimize MS methods to obtain structural characterization of metabolites of interest
  • Radioanalysis (14C, 3H, etc.,) and radio-profiling of in vitro and in vivo biological samples for quantitation and identification of metabolites
  • Perform routine instrument maintenance, repair and may troubleshoot complex instrument issues
  • Writing protocols and reports, compiling, analyzing, and interpreting data
