Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is to work in conjunction with the data science team and the Distillery team to add new metrics to production, update and maintain our applications and jobs.
Enable numerous Spectrum teams to run experiments for their services/products and releases.
The metrics and calculations are run over ~20-30Tbs of data daily within 2-3 hours.
All of our production solutions and jobs are running in AWS using a mixture of S3, EMR clusters and Lambda scripts or triggers.

Things we are looking for:
Experienced with object oriented with Scala or Java with at least the knowledge of and desire to work with Scala and functional practices.
Nice to have experience with some or all of the following: Spark or SQL, AWS (EMR/Glue/S3/Lambda), terraform and graphql.
Experienced with implementing and maintaining continuous integration and delivery pipelines (Gitlab CI/CD) to build, test, and deploy artifacts.
Believe in optimization, efficiency and testing.
Believe in incremental delivery and able to take complex business requirements and write software to achieve those requirements.
