As a Senior Sales Estimator, you are the strategic anchor of our estimating process, driving accuracy on our largest, most complex building challenges and ensuring our proposals are as competitive as they are innovative.
You will not only deliver high confidence estimates but also mentor junior team members, optimize estimating workflows, and serve as the primary bridge between Sales, Engineering, and Operations to maximize our win rate and project profitability.

- Coach junior estimators on takeoff techniques, risk assessment, and standardizing estimating templates
Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop comprehensive cost estimates for both owner-direct and construction-based projects, covering hardware, software, and labor.
- Deep dive into control schematics and bid documents to accurately define project scope and eliminate risk.
- Create detailed scope letters and proposals that offer the best value-engineered options for our customers.
- Solicit and qualify pricing from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring we have the best support in the market.
- Partner with Sales leadership and Operations to align our pricing strategies with market conditions and business objectives.
- Provide clear, accurate documentation and participate in turnover meetings to set our execution teams up for success.
Required Qualifications- High School Diploma/GED or completion of an accredited trade or technical school program
- 5+ years of experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC, or Building Controls.
- 3+ years of direct, hands-on estimating experience for commercial BAS or mechanical controls projects, including experience reading and interpreting complex blueprints, MEP drawings, control schematics, and bid specifications.
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering
- Skilled in modern estimating software and CRM tools to drive efficiency.(e.g., Salesforce, MileStone, Bluebeam, Accubid, or proprietary ALC tools)
- Ability to present ideas and strategies clearly to leadership and diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a proven ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience working directly with owner-direct sales and plan/spec construction channels.
- Up to 30% local travel for site surveys and client meetings

We are unable to offer sponsorship for employment visa status for this position.Pay RangeThe annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.
Other CompensationThis position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
