Full Job Description
ROLE OVERVIEW

The Sr. Risk Manager will mitigate Amcor Rigids Packaging Solutions North America (RPSNA) exposure to risk by leading best practices in all insurance and claims-related activities, maintain compliance with government regulatory agencies as a minimum standard, identify root causes of past losses/accidents and partner with appropriate personnel to mitigate RPSNA exposure.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO
  • Develop and direct an RPSNA program to ensure the proper and efficient transfer of risk and the handling of RPSNA claims, gathering data on claims for both record keeping and loss forecasting purposes, and estimating the financial value of claims.
  • Oversee the activities of strategic partners. Coordinate and manage all aspects of audits of partner companies to ensure contractual service level agreements will be met or exceeded and ensure regular stewardship meetings are held.
  • Responsible for the planning, development, piloting, implementation, measuring, auditing, and continuous improvement of insurance and claims best practices throughout RPSNA operations. Use the tools and resources provided efficiently, creatively, and wisely to serve internal and external customers.
  • Effectively lead, mentor and coach other RPSNA personnel who need to know what insurance does, when and how to access it.
  • Influence and educate RPSNA business partners through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Based on audit findings, conduct root cause analysis and manage resolution of identified issues.
  • Complete risk management assignments efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner to ensure internal and external contact needs are met.
  • Develop recommendations for enhancements to current processes and procedures.
  • Maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the RPNSA organization.
