Sr Risk Associate, Change Enablement | Retail Bank
The Retail Risk office Change Enablement & Operational Readiness team is seeking a dynamic associate that will play a key role to help shape the strategic change practices across the Retail Risk organization.
We are looking for a fungible individual who will work closely with horizontal and vertical stakeholders to drive change implementation in response to organization changes and shifts. As a Sr. Risk Associate in the Retail Risk Office, you will be responsible for managing this process to ensure the Banking and Premium Products organization manage organizational shifts in a well-managed way. In this key role, you will also work closely with team members to perform duties related to regulatory changes and other change management activities.
Competencies in communication, team work, job specific skills, integrated thinking, problem solving, and influence will be key for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Work with stakeholders across the Risk Office to understand organizational changes and identify and update associated risk objects in Capital One systems of record
Partner with enterprise teams that own and manage systems to understand data lineage and best practices for updating information
Have excellent communication, problem solving and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders
Create and manage reporting and metrics
Be a fungible team player that can support other Change Enablement team members during periods of heighted demand, to include general change management activities and regulatory change governance activities
Leverage technology to drive process improvements
Basic Qualifications:
At least 1 year of Financial Services Risk Management Experience
At least 1 year of Project Management experience
At least 2 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with business clients
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of Financial Services risk management experience
2+ years of Project Management experience leading cross functional projects and programs in Risk
Ability to tailor communications across multiple teams and levels within the organization

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $96,500 - $110,100 for Sr. Risk Associate
Richmond, VA: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Risk Associate
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
