Join Casepoint's Finance team at an exciting stage of growth, where you'll play a critical role in shaping and scaling our revenue accounting operations. As Senior Revenue Accounting Manager, you'll lead revenue accounting and billing functions while partnering across the business to strengthen processes, systems, and controls.

You'll have significant visibility across the organization, work closely with senior leadership, and help ensure the integrity of financial information that drives strategic decision-making.

What You'll Do

Revenue Accounting
  • Lead the monthly revenue close process.
  • Ensure revenue recognition is accurate and compliant with U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 requirements.
  • Review and reconcile deferred revenue, unbilled revenue, and related balance sheet accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve complex revenue accounting matters through research, analysis, and collaboration.
  • Reviewand approverevenue-related journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Partner with external auditors and support annual audit activities related to revenue accounting.
  • Drive continuous improvement in revenue accounting processes, controls, and reporting.

Billing Operations
  • Oversee billing processes across multiple products, services, and contract structures.
  • Ensure customer invoices are generated accurately and delivered on a timely basis.
  • Partner with Sales Operations, Customer Success, and Finance teams to resolve billing questions and improve customer experience.
  • Strengthen billing controls, operational workflows, and documentation.
  • Support evaluation and enhancement of billing systems, automations, and integrations.

Systems & Process Improvement
  • Partner with business stakeholders to improve data accuracy and system integrations.
  • Identify process gaps, data inconsistencies, and root causes of operational challenges, then develop sustainable solutions.
  • Lead or support system implementations, enhancements, and special projects related to revenue operations.
  • Build scalable processes that support the company's continued growth.

Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals based in India.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment focused on growth, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish clear goals, priorities, and development opportunities for team members.
  • Providecoaching, feedback, and support to help the team achieve individual and business objectives.

Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare and review monthly revenue, billing, and accounts receivable reporting for executive leadership.
  • Support Board and management reporting with key revenue metrics and insights.
  • Partner with Finance and business leaders to evaluate revenue trends, forecasts, and operational impacts.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition requirements.
  • Experience managing revenue accounting within a SaaS, technology, or recurring-revenue environment.
  • Experience overseeing billing operations and deferred revenue.
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing accounting or finance professionals.
  • Experience working with NetSuite and Salesforce.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
  • Above average Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships across functions.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA or Master's degree.
  • Experience with billing platforms such as Ordway, Chargebee, Zuora, etc.
  • Experience working with a global team.
  • Experience in a private equity-backed organization.
  • Experience supporting government, legal technology, or highly regulated industries.

Work Location:

This position is eligible for remote work. Priority consideration will be given to candidates based in the DMV (DC, MD, VA) area to support occasional in-person collaboration.
