Full Job Description
Responsibilities*

Perform statistical analysis of health-related data derived from sources including but not limited to electronic medical records, biobanks, public research databases, and/or insurance claims databases; develop quantitative analysis plans; write, test, and implement code using SAS/STATA/R to clean, manage, merge, and analyze large, complex datasets; write and maintain pipelines to automate data management and cleaning; assist in clinical trial data collection tracking by creating reports using RMarkdown; prepare and maintain technical documentation of data and analysis files; summarize, interpret, and present results in written, tabular and visual formats for reports, manuscripts, and presentations; assist in writing and editing reports, abstracts, manuscripts, conference presentations, and grant proposals; perform quality assurance (QA) checks using model diagnostics; participate in discussions on analysis and improvement of data collection, quality of data analyses, programming and documentation; & communicate with institutional collaborators and regulatory agencies. 100% remote.

Required Qualifications*

Master's degree in economics, biostatistics, or statistics + 1 yr experience in an academic setting: using statistical computing software to plan and conduct statistical analyses and to report analyses in data visualizations, tables, and reports; interpreting large healthcare datasets and surveys for research purposes; performing statistical analysis of randomized clinical trial data; developing and evaluating statistical analysis plans; designing and executing reproducible data QC/QA procedures; and writing Methods and Results in journal publications, abstracts, and proposals.
