Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a quality engineer in Agile environments.
• Extensive test automation experience with Selenium and Cucumber.
• Working knowledge of Karate and Playwright for automated testing.
• Experience using version control systems like Azure DevOps, GIT, or SVN.
• Proficient in developing API tests with the Karate framework.
• Background in creating BDD tests using Cucumber frameworks.
• 4+ years of experience in automated regression tests for web and backend applications.
• 3+ years of experience in writing SQL scripts and executing data tests.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated UI and API tests for web applications.
• Create standardized test automation solutions and scripts.
• Conduct in-sprint manual and automation testing in Agile.
• Develop and manage comprehensive software test plans.
• Write and maintain regression test plans for validating applications.
• Provide testing estimates during discovery and sprint planning phases.
• Investigate test failures and update scripts as necessary.
• Log production defects and replicate them in lower environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automated tests into delivery pipelines.
• Automate repetitive validation tasks using test automation tools.
• Report testing metrics and results to QA leads and stakeholders.
• Work with product teams to establish acceptance criteria and develop BDD tests.
