Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver new vehicle launches on time and within budget
  • Create and manage Resource Plans, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and Master Plans
  • Establish and monitor project funding, ensuring adherence to budget
  • Facilitate Steering Committee meetings and escalate issues as needed
  • Develop and track Pilot schedules, organizing daily pilot meetings and reports
  • Manage Global Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and escalate risks appropriately
  • Prepare and execute IH Review meetings
  • Coordinate workshops to address major issues and drive solutions
  • Lead issue resolution meetings with stakeholders to prioritize concerns
  • Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to meet objectives
  • Build relationships with Engineering and Manufacturing for better product comprehension
  • Develop and refine work methods for improved efficiency
  • Work with functional and operations managers to enhance productivity, quality, and output
  • Support Stellantis Production Way initiatives, particularly in Workplace Organization and Logistics

Full Job Description
The Sr. Project Specialist is responsible for implementation of MCE Launch Standards for new model launches during the entire launch process. The position will interact with Corporate Planning, Production Management, Vehicle Process Engineering, and Product Engineering Leadership on all matters relating to Project Launch activities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead a cross-functional team to successfully Launch a New Vehicle on time within budget
  • Create & Track to Resource Plans / WBS / Master Plan
  • Establish Project Funding & Track Status to Budget
  • Lead Steering Committee & Escalate Issues Accordingly
  • Develop Pilot Schedules. Track Plan vs Actual with Daily Pilot Meetings and Reports
  • Manage Global KPI / KAIs & GVD & Escalate Risks
  • IH Review Preparation / Execution
  • Coordinate and lead workshops to resolve major issues
  • Lead issue resolution meetings with stakeholders and escalate priority concerns
  • Work closely with Team leads, Quality, and Engineering to ensure objectives are met at the station and plant levels.
  • Build relationships with Engineering and Manufacturing to comprehend the new product requirements and sequence of build.
  • Develop and improve work methods.
  • Work with functional managers and operation managers to improve productivity, quality, and output.
  • Support Stellantis Production Way (SPW) especially for WO (Workplace Organization) and LO(Logistic).


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 8 years of Automotive experience
  • At least three years of program management experience
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • Excellent problem solving/analytical skills
  • Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team and interface with all levels of management and labor
  • Highly motivated self-starter and change agent


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Master's Degree
  • Working Knowledge of MEDDs, PentaSap, PFS, FIS, Manufacturing Portal, and MCE Global Portal
