Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Project Manager will coordinate people and processes for multiple or complex projects to ensure they are delivered on time and produce the desired results. This position will develop detailed project plans through extensive planning and cross-collaboration, ensure resource availability and allocation, and deliver every project on time and within budget and scope. These projects may include iterative updates to current products, engineering changes, production line moves and new equipment implementation.

CORE FUNCTIONS
  • Develop detailed project plans for multiple complex projects. Track progress and milestones to ensure the project will deliver successful results and within budget.
  • Track status and timing supporting ongoing supply chain analysis involving near term and long-term supply chain network strategies. Responsibilities include evaluating the supply chain network (at regional and country levels) from product source to customer delivery. It includes evaluation of manufacturing and warehouse facilities, transportation modes, and supplier locations. This position works cross-functionally to identify, evaluate, and recommend cost effective, service-sensitive supply chain network layout alternatives and the impact on service, costs and inventory levels.
  • Assist in the planning of product development cycle and resource plans for future projects.
  • Facilitate weekly change notice and project meetings.
  • Work with site leadership and vendors to determine availability of resources.
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.
  • Lead weekly project status meeting.
  • Serve as a mentor and learning resource for entry level Project Managers to guide and support their growth, fostering a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing is encouraged
  • Ensure compliance to all PMO standards for Project Management (processes, forms, reporting etc.) throughout the Centers of Excellence.
  • Other duties as assigned by senior leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of related experience required.

Required Licenses
• PMP certification preferred.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
• Skilled in Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Project.
• Ability to put business plans together to evaluate proposed changes.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and others.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to coach team members on Project Management processes and procedures

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Individual Contributor: working team member with no oversight of others and no management responsibilities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• This position is subject to sedentary work; exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involved sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.

• This position is subject to the following physical activities: standing, walking, talking, hearing, and the use of hands, wrists, or fingers in a repetitive motion.

Visual Acuity
• The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.

• This position primarily operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
