Overview

Horizon Media is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join our Program Management team. This person will provide project management leadership for a dedicated project within the PMO of one of our largest clients. The focus of this role will be formalizing scope, establishing project plans, and leading the team through execution to meet the client's expected outcomes. This person will establish and lead a communication plan that enables successful execution. This role requires an execution leader who can align diverse stakeholders-ranging from media, technology, data, business strategy, and executive client leadership. Media agency and MarTech experience will be important to ensure success. This person will be accountable for successful delivery, process, project management, and communication across their project while working closely with client and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong client facing experience and good at navigating large, dynamic enterprise environments. They must have a passion for, and shared vision of, transforming data-driven marketing through AI-powered intelligence and automation. Must have knowledge of the agency model and the MarTech ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution
  • Oversee end-to-end project execution for one or multiple projects within a larger program
  • Manage client relationships with stakeholders across multiple departments
  • Oversee team members on the project spanning technology, product development, data strategy, analytics, business strategy, and media
  • Manage project risk and governance frameworks, define clear decision-making structures, accountability, and prioritization.
  • Establish timelines and ensure successful execution of the project(s) per strategic goals and expected outcomes.
  • Execute the foundational project management activities necessary for the project(s) to be successful; meeting notes, projects plans, RACIs, Jira, charters, etc.
  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders so that they are informed with the right information at the right time to make decisions.
  • Identify risks and issues proactively along with mitigation strategies
  • Partner with team leads to scope work and identify capacity needs
  • Constantly optimize the team based on performance and needs
  • Partner with workstream leads to strategize the most effective process for delivering against desired outcomes


Project Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as a central liaison across all team members to ensure seamless collaboration and execution
  • Facilitate engagement among internal and client stakeholders to align project deliverables with the client's strategic goals
  • Lead and facilitate discussions, ensuring alignment and consensus across stakeholders
  • Proactively identify new workstreams, issues, challenges, etc. that would increase the team's chances for success


Qualifications & Experience
  • 6+ years of experience in project management in an agency, ad tech, media consultancy or SaaS environment
  • Strong understanding of technology, AI, data, MarTech, and media
  • Excellent client relationship skills
  • Strong meeting facilitator who is comfortable planning and leading meetings at all levels
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership. Willing to jump in and lead to get the job done.
  • Proven ability to manage medium-sized, cross-functional technology and business initiatives in a complex corporate environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Expert at building project plans, owning status, managing risks, and leadership
  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (JIRA, Monday.com).
  • PMP, Agile, or SAFe certification is a plus.


Salary Range
$90,000.00 - $140,000.00

A successful applicant's actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual's skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
