Senior IT Project Manager Location: Southern California (Onsite / Hybrid as required by business needs)
We are partnering with a growing organization seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide technology initiatives across multiple business functions. This individual will play a critical role in driving delivery of strategic IT programs and ensuring alignment between technology execution and business objectives.
The role is responsible for end-to-end ownership of complex IT projects and programs, including planning, governance, execution, and delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership capabilities, deep project management expertise, and the ability to effectively partner with executive stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors.
This is a highly visible position within the organization's IT function and will contribute directly to enterprise transformation initiatives, operational improvements, and technology modernization efforts.
Qualifications- 8-10+ years of experience in IT project or program management within complex enterprise environments.
- Proven success leading large-scale technology implementations and business transformation initiatives.
- Strong expertise in project governance, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.
- Experience working with executive stakeholders and facilitating governance boards and steering committees.
- Strong vendor and third-party management experience.
- Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience working across enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, SaaS platforms, and system integrations.
- Working knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, and data platforms.
- Strong familiarity with PMO frameworks and portfolio management practices.
- Advanced proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow PPM, Planview, Microsoft 365, and Power BI.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Education- Bachelor's degree with 8-10+ years of relevant experience, or
- Master's degree with 6-8+ years of relevant experience.
