Job Description

The Project Lead will play a critical role in successfully implementing new businesses and clients within our logistics operations. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in process design, project management, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects, particularly in the logistics sector, and will work closely with internal teams and external clients to ensure seamless implementation.

YOUR TASKS
  • Manage cross-functional teams for Engineering, IT, Operations, HR, QA, Transportation, Security, Legal and Finance through the full project management lifecycle including initial project kick-off, requirements gathering, timeline development, integration of timelines for each workstream and execution of work packages by the cross-functional teams.
  • Overall Project Setup: Create and maintain project structure, including documentation such as meeting minutes, notes, and agreement logs.
  • Establish and assign clear roles and responsibilities, ensuring alignment with project goals and team capabilities.
  • Define key project criteria metrics; implement project control and reporting procedures to manage changes in the operational plan effectively.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring timelines are met and adjustments are communicated effectively.
  • Lead change management initiatives, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the implementation process.
  • Conduct risk analysis and cost controlling to ensure project budgets are adhered to while identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Manage communication with stakeholders, including setting up and leading control boards (both internal and external) to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Manage clear and effective communication with customers and other external stakeholders throughout the implementation process.
  • Ensure general alignment between different workstreams to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Create and implement standardized tools and templates to streamline project management processes.
  • Engage in knowledge exchange with other local and international project managers to share best practices and enhance project outcomes.
  • Any additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environment.


YOUR PROFILE
  • At least 5 years of experience in a project management capacity, specifically with a focus on new business implementations within the logistics industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Experience working with companies in the following sectors: High Tech, Healthcare, or Consumer Products industries preferred.
