SummaryThis role is responsible for leading the implementation of high-impact strategic projects, as approved by leadership, aimed at optimizing card performance, member experience and departmental efficiencies. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical execution, overseeing all aspects of the project implementation and contributing to financial ROI analysis.
Role and Responsibilities- Strategic Project Leadership. Lead card optimization and departmental projects, as approved by leadership, from initiation to completion, collaborating with the business to define scope, goals, resources, and success metrics with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Process & Systems Improvement. Implement operational efficiency through business process improvements, system upgrades, conversions and workflow enhancements while adhering to change control procedures.
- Vendor & Partner Management. Manage relationships with IT, external vendors, and consultants, overseeing project delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Risk & Issue Mitigation. Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex project risks and technical issues through collaboration with business decision makers.
- Comprehensive Documentation. Develop and maintain project work plans, requirements, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quality Assurance & Testing. Provide oversight for project deliverables by validating outcomes against requirements and managing final acceptance testing.
- Stakeholder Communication. Facilitate meetings and provide regular updates on project status, budget, and risks to management and business partners, as applicable.
- Technical Support. Research and resolve user inquiries, within the scope of projects and defined post go- live support periods, regarding operating systems and tools, providing functional support to ensure operating effectiveness.
- Financial Analysis. Assist leadership with conducting ROI assessments and evaluating project benefits to support data-driven financial decision-making, as applicable.
- General Support. Perform other duties as assigned to support service excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and Education Requirements- Minimum 3 years of experience in operations, project management and related regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Undergraduate degree preferred.
- Must have the ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage time efficiently to meet established deadlines, while demonstrating an appreciation for accuracy and service.
- Experience in business or systems analytics with intermediate experience in Excel preferred.
- Possess strong communication, problem solving and process management skills.
- Ability to view the product/project from a member experience.
- Ability to work effectively and communicate with management, members, internal/external contacts, and vendors.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work well both in groups and independently.
- Ability to escalate appropriately and utilize resources effectively.
- Knowledge of PSCU systems desirable.
