Provide electrical engineering services in power system, instrumentation, and programming fields to support project work and equipment maintenance requirements. This role will support Waterville's operations in a variety of technical assignments to create innovative solutions to technological challenges.
Essential Functions- Design, estimate, install and startup systems in the area of electrical and process control.
- Provide daily technical support to Waterville operations.
- Manage capital projects related to electrical and process control systems.
- Develop and manage preventative and predictive maintenance practices around our electrical and process control infrastructure.
- Manager contractor deliverables, cost control and safety prior to and during project work assignments.
- Maintain our compliance with current regulatory requirements as defined by OSHA, NFPA, NEC, etc.
Job QualificationsRequired
- Project equipment and control system design experience utilizing PLC's.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirement defined by OSHA, NFPA, and NEC standards.
- 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Project equipment and control system design experiences utilizing PLC's and DCS systems.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Strong PLC Programming background.
Preferred
- BSEE or BSEET degree.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a process controls certification.
- 5-10 years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
